This music starts creating the sonic landscape of the play in the opening sequence of choreography and text. It begins with a voiceover, with a trio of dancers that resolves in a duet, and then develops into a crowded vocal soundscape that leads us into the next scene. The song returns at the end of the scene 3, where the character lostbooks is welcomed into the group with their traditional greeting, "Welcome. Sorry You're Here." The song plays nearly all the way through a dance where certain characters bear the weight of others. This then crossed into scene 4, the thread of which was underscored by an instrumental version of Track 5.
